THE CASBAH Taourirt
1.5 km from the center, on the road to the city of Tineghir, this sumptuous residence of the pasha of Marrakech is the proof that we can only beautiful buildings in the ground. Right in front of the kasbah, this building combines modern workshops of the sculptors in stone, copper or silver. There are embroideries and carpets, mainly ouzquita that are characterized by the originality of their design and their vivid colors. They are woven in a loose silky wool with a tribe whose name they bear. On the right out of the building is a café where it is nice to have a drink on the evening when the casbah is illuminated.
